Other Ways Your Cat Shows Love
February 28th, 2008 · No Comments
If you notice you cat backing up towards you with his tail up like he is going to spray, he is. Now he is not going to actually spray you, he is pretending to spray you as a way of showing affection. One thing you may see if you have an insecure cat is bed-wetting. A cat that has security issues may urinate in their owners beds as a sign of love not disobedience. Although it is disgusting and rare, a cat is just expressing love for you. Another sign of love is rubbing their mouth on you or their gums. This is a sign of affection.

Cats, Birds, Ferrets and Mice Living Together
January 27th, 2008 · No Comments
If this is possible, I would like to know. I watch television every Sunday morning and this animal person has bunny rabbits, mice, ferrets, cats, puppies and birds all walking around mixing and mingling together. Evidently these animals all live together from birth on up. Now my oldest cat is a killer. She is not allowed outdoors, but when she knocks out the corner of the screen in the upstairs window, she always brings home the rewards. She has bought home birds, mice and one time a live baby bunny that I rescued.

Cats Are Playful And Can Cause A Mess Sometimes
January 26th, 2008 · 2 Comments
Have you ever received a package in the mail that had foam peanuts inside? If so, you might already know that cats think these little static foam peanuts are their new play toys. Cats will dig, claw, bite away the box until they unleash the little foam peanuts from the box. Can you imagine walking into a house and seeing nothing but peanuts everywhere and your cat running around with peanuts sticking to their hair? It sure is funny until you try to catch the cat and clean up the mess.

To Declaw Or Not To Declaw
January 20th, 2008 · No Comments
Should you declaw your cats or not? Many cat owners have asked this question. Most vets will declaw cats for a fee. If you use a shelter for your neutering or spaying, they will not declaw the cat. They feel this in inhumane. I think is it is a great way to save your furniture and carpeting. Cats that have claws are eager to sharpen them on anything including their owners. A cat that stays indoors and is not let outside should be declawed to protect the home. Did you know that cats love to claw at walls? They will claw at anything that gives them pleasure.

The Importance Of Neutering And Spaying Your Cats
January 18th, 2008 · No Comments
It is very important for people to spay and neuter their cats. The cat population is overwhelming and responsible cat owners need to have their males and females protected from any more unwanted kittens. The animal shelters are filled with unwanted kittens and cats. Some have been abandoned and some were brought to the shelters because owners could no longer take care of them.
If you have a male or a female cat, you need to act responsibly and have your cats taken care of to protect the cat population. Unwanted cats and kittens are put down every day because owners do not take responsibility for their cats.

Nutro Care for Cats and Kittens
December 14th, 2007 · No Comments
![]()
During a summer that I was blessed with two fertile female felines and nineteen kittens, I discovered Nutro Kitten as one of the options at my local Petsmart.Feeding cats–particularly kittens–a higher priced quality dry cat food will cut down on the odor from the litter box. I found out by experience.
I had given the kittens Friskies dry food, and the reduction in odor was definitely noticeable when the food change worked its way through the little ones system’s. The stuff still stinks, but not quite so intensely. The back of the cat food bag says “Guaranteed to Reduce Litter Box Odor”–”Complete Satisfaction or Your Money Back”. Even with all the cat box cleaning I’ve done this year, Nutro is one of my top picks for digested remains.
