If you notice you cat backing up towards you with his tail up like he is going to spray, he is. Now he is not going to actually spray you, he is pretending to spray you as a way of showing affection. One thing you may see if you have an insecure cat is bed-wetting. A cat that has security issues may urinate in their owners beds as a sign of love not disobedience. Although it is disgusting and rare, a cat is just expressing love for you. Another sign of love is rubbing their mouth on you or their gums. This is a sign of affection.

The funny thing about cats is how they look at you. They will stare at you and blink. This is the way they say, “I love you.” If your cat trusts you, they will roll around and show their stomachs. This is a sure sign that your cat is in love with you and trusts you completely. The other way your cat can show you they love you is by bringing you things that they catch. A dead mouse or whatever else they catch is their way of giving you presents. Screaming in this case is not recommended.

If your cat loves you, they will want you to pet them. They will take their head or their paw and force your hand to pet them. Many people, who do not have cats, do not believe a cat is this smart, but cats are very intelligent and affectionate to the ones they love.
