Have you ever wondered who invents the different scoopable cat litters? Well I have to tell you that not all cat litters are created equally. I have always used one brand of cat litter for years and never have had anyone smell a litter box when they visit. I use Scoop Away. Trying to save a penny did not pay off for me a few months ago. It actually caused me nothing but problems.

I tried a highly reputable scoopable cat litter that was just horrible. I could smell the litter box and so could everyone else. The difference in smell was incredible. I never gag when I scoop my cat litter boxes. Nevertheless, I will tell you that I gagged every night and morning for a couple of weeks. The cat litter did not absorb the smell of cat urine at all.

I was completely dumbfounded because I know many people that use the cat litter and have no problems. I was disappointed with the product and went back to my Scoop Away as soon as I could. I was told that there might be different strength cat litters for multiple cat homes, but I never saw any different containers.

It is amazing how well the cat litter I use every day does not allow the smell in the house and it also works good for cleaning up oil spills as well.
