Cats Are Playful And Can Cause A Mess Sometimes

Have you ever received a package in the mail that had foam peanuts inside? If so, you might already know that cats think these little static foam peanuts are their new play toys. Cats will dig, claw, bite away the box until they unleash the little foam peanuts from the box. Can you imagine walking into a house and seeing nothing but peanuts everywhere and your cat running around with peanuts sticking to their hair? It sure is funny until you try to catch the cat and clean up the mess.

Have you ever left a box of dog treats on the top of the refrigerator and had a cat that thinks the dogs deserve treats now. Imagine bellasitting in a different room and hearing something hit the floor and the dogs scrambling. Yes, cats will knock the box of dog treats over and carefully remove one treat at a time and drop it down the dogs. Now when you hear fighting and snarling from the dogs, it probably means one treat at a time is not being shared and one dog is really mad and willing to bite and fight.

Cats think that when you put toilet paper on the toilet paper holder that you have made a new toy for them. They can now grab the end piece of toilet paper and take off running up the stairs to the bedroom and unto the bed. Then they can go back stairs and break that piece off and start all over again. You will be glad you bought the cheap stuff. They do look so innocent when they are little and sleeping.

Share your funny cat stories. I love to read about people who have as much fun as I do with my cats.

I tried to toilet train my cat. I used a variety of devices (read: a big plastic bowl with a hole cut in the middle) to integrate the cat’s habits with the toilet bowl.

I went to take a shower one day and got a surprise when I lifted the shower curtain. The cat had pooped in the bathtub and somehow managed to wrap it in the shower curtain.

She’s been happily using the litter ever since.

The dog treats story was a new one for me, thanks for sharing :).

I always wanted to try toilet training my cats since are so fascinated watching me go. They love it when I flush and toilet paper swirls around. I am not sure they would potty train on the toilet or not, I would probably have the same thing as you.
