Making The Most of Your Cat Litter
March 26th, 2008 · No Comments
Having three cats is rough on the budget since you need litter every week and food every three weeks. One way I have managed to save money on cat litter is by cleaning the litter box once in the morning and once at bedtime. This has helped keep the litter in the box where it belongs. I have a cat that is so tidy that he insists on cleaning up after everyone and scatters litter all over the place.

You never know what to do after you spoil your cats, but I have two that are spoiled and one that could care less about anything. Getting Cats Use To Babies
March 21st, 2008 · No Comments
Cats are funny little creatures, you never know who they will like and who they will not like. Bringing home a new baby may or may not be tolerated. Baby cries can sometimes scare or annoy cats. Cats will need time to adjust to a new family member, but never try to introduce them until they are ready. Cats will gradually check out the baby when they feel the time is right. It is usually when they accept that the baby is going to stay a while.

Keeping Cats Out Of The Baby Crib
March 20th, 2008 · No Comments
Many people, especially younger people have never heard about keeping cats out of the baby’s bedroom or out of the crib because of the potential dangers that can result. I was very surprised to hear that my son and daughter-in-law had never heard anything about this danger.
Cats are drawn to the smell of breast milk or formula and the warmth of the baby and will enter the sleeping space of the baby to find the smell of the breast milk or formula. The cat will lay on top of the baby while it is sleeping and can smother the baby. This is not a rare occurrence. It has been documented many times in history. Cats do not know they are doing anything wrong, they are just curious and loving.

What Do You Like Better
March 19th, 2008 · 1 Comment
Someone recently asked me a question that I thought would be a good way for everyone to get to know each other. I want to do a comment poll to see who feels what way.
The question is: What do you like better
1. owning a cat
2. owning a dog
3. owning both
4. none
I am curious to know how everyone feels. Feel free to tell why you feel the way you do as well.
