Buying cat toys can be tricky with all the choices made available to us. I have found the best toys are the ones right in our own homes. Since playtime is important for our beloved felines, it is good to have a variety of items available to them.

Different sized balls are great. Some balls come with the option to put catnip inside and this will help attract your cat to the ball or any other toy you put catnip on or in. I have put catnip inside of a sock and knotted it and my cat played with it for days. The ingredients in catnip create a frisky, high feeling for your cat. My female cat just gave birth to 3 kittens 3 days ago. This was her second pregnancy, so I knew of things to look for this time I didn’t catch the first time around.

Her abdomen getting bigger was not the first sign. It was the constant hunger. Any time I would get near the food bowl she would mew for more. She would ask for treats more and seem to just appear at the smell of food at the supper table.
